On November 21, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to implement Directive 30/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on developing Vietnam's cultural industries in Da Nang.
The conference aims to disseminate the spirit and direction of the Prime Minister stated in Directive No. 30/CT-TTg to ministries, branches, localities, associations, unions and relevant agencies, units and organizations; focusing on organizing the implementation of the assigned contents in Directive No. 30/CT-TTg in a synchronous, practical and effective manner.
Clearly identify urgent activities and tasks that need to be implemented immediately and long-term tasks, methods of organization and implementation, implementation time and completion progress; focus on proposing tasks and solutions for industries with potential and competitive advantages; focus on developing key cultural industries by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee said that cultural industry is a concentrated expression of the close connection between culture and economy, contributing to creating economic values, while preserving cultural values and improving people's material and spiritual life.
Since 2015, Da Nang has always strived to implement the Party and Government's policies and guidelines in placing culture on par with economics, politics and society. In particular, the development of cultural industries is identified as a spearhead to promote the rapid and sustainable development of culture.
"Da Nang City determines to develop the cultural industry along with building and perfecting the cultural market in 12 fields, focusing on: advertising, software and entertainment games, design, cinema, performing arts, and cultural tourism," said Mr. Minh.
