Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau has just signed a document assigning the Provincial Inspectorate to preside over and coordinate with the departments of Planning and Investment, Justice, Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Nghi Xuan District People's Committee and relevant agencies to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect and review the entire implementation process of the Xuan Hoi Marine Ecotourism Area project of An Giang Dragon Ha Tinh Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company.
Complete, report results and advise and propose to the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province on related contents in accordance with regulations before November 30, 2024.
The Xuan Hoi Marine Ecotourism Area Project (Xuan Hoi Commune, Nghi Xuan District) was approved for investment by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province in 2017, with a scale of about 99 hectares (later adjusted down to 93 hectares), invested by An Giang Dragon Ha Tinh Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company.
The project has a total estimated capital of about 1,261 billion VND. According to the plan, by 2020, all construction items of the project will be completed and put into operation. However, for many years, the project has not been implemented, although the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has issued many documents requesting the investor to ensure the project's progress is accelerated.
At many meetings, local people and government representatives have also proposed drastic solutions to deal with this slow-moving project.
