Bich Tuyen's representative responds to Dam Vinh Hung's accusation

On the afternoon of March 12, after receiving information from Dam Vinh Hung's lawyer, singer Bich Tuyen responded to Lao Dong Newspaper about this incident.

After Dam Vinh Hung's lawyer sent information to the media about the lawsuit between the male singer and singer Bich Tuyen and her husband, on the afternoon of March 12, the female singer also had an official response.

The lawyer representing singer Bich Tuyen and her husband said that Dhillon Law Group Inc - the law firm representing Dam Vinh Hung - issued a press release on March 6 but there was a lot of false information and misunderstanding about the lawsuit with American businessman Gerard Richard Williams III.

The lawyer of Bich Tuyen and her husband also said: "Despite the injuries that were called "disaster" declared by Dam Vinh Hung's representative, Dam Vinh Hung has continuously performed, danced and sang throughout Vietnam and the US since the incident".

lawyer Marco Molina of Baker hostetler, representing Mr. Williams, said. "This public campaign cannot change the truth about the unfounded lawsuit, which Mr. Dam Vinh Hung himself withdrew after watching the video evidence to refute his allegations".

Brito's lawyer Alejandro Brito, PLLC, representing Mr. Williams, also said: "According to Mr. Gerard Richard Williams' complaint in Harris District Court, since Mr. Dam Vinh Hung requested the dismissal of the lawsuit, Mr. Dam Vinh Hung's fans have launched a defamation and harassment campaign against Mr. Williams and his family, in the hope of forcing Mr. Williams to pay a settlement fee to Dam Vinh Hung based on the allegations that we believe are baseless.

However, this defamation campaign cannot change the truth, and Mr. Williams is not afraid of threats. He and his family are looking forward to the court's resolution of this issue. Mr. Williams also hopes to end this dispute...".

The lawyer of singer Bich Tuyen and her husband recounted that on February 19, 2024, Gerard Richard Williams III and his family had a friend use their private home to organize an intimate party to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Vietnamese people.

This event was organized by Ms. Mong Linh Nguyen and Ms. Tram Huong Nguyen. These two people are allowed to use Mr. Williams's house for free as long as they take appropriate safety measures.

Late in the evening, when Dam Vinh Hung and others were immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, the male singer suddenly and arbitrarily climbed to the top of the fountain, intending to make a dramatic ending.

However, the fountain top was not designed to withstand the weight and collapsed immediately, causing Dam Vinh Hung to fall and injure, and damaging the structure.

The lawyer of Bich Tuyen and her husband confirmed that there was video evidence confirming that Dam Vinh Hung had arbitrarily climbed to the top of the fountain and caused the accident.

The support and top of the fountain were destroyed by the fall. After falling, people around him, including Hong Ngoc, helped Dam Vinh Hung out of the water.

"Although there is clear video evidence, Dam Vinh Hung's lawyer still incorrectly accused Mr. Williams of knowing about the danger but did not take preventive measures.

Claims that the fountain was damaged before, and collapsed when used normally, are completely untrue. The statements that the fountain was used as a stage or a drinking table before the sudden collapse are also unfounded and defamatory" - said the representative of Bich Tuyen and her husband.
