Even at times when prices escalated, travel and program organization costs increased, the crew once proposed to increase by 5-10% per show. However, Dan Truong did not agree.
The manager said that male singer Dan Truong once said that program organizers, show organizers or partners all need expenses to operate the work. Therefore, Dan Truong does not want to create more financial pressure for those who are cooperating with him.
Dan Truong thinks everyone needs money to do business. If I increase prices too much, the organizing units will also have more difficulty. Therefore, Dan Truong still wants to maintain a reasonable salary level so that everyone can work together for a long time," the male singer's manager shared.
In fact, many colleagues and audiences commented that Dan Truong is "the singer with the most shows in Vietnam". According to the male singer's manager, the reason for this title is partly because he is loved by the audience, goes to many shows, and partly because of people's jokes.

Although not increasing the cat-xe significantly, Dan Truong said that there are still minor adjustments in some special cases. For example, when airfares or travel costs increase sharply, the crew will consider adding the actual incurred costs instead of keeping them completely the same.
Sometimes it only increases a little. For example, if air tickets increase, then add that part of the cost, not a sudden increase," the manager added.
The male singer's crew also recognizes that the current entertainment market has changed a lot compared to when he first entered the profession. If in the past artists had to perform everywhere to build a name, now social networks help many young faces become famous in just a short time.
In the past, we lived differently from now. We didn't have social networks to become famous quickly. If you want the audience to know you, you have to perform everywhere yourself, move around yourself," the manager said.
As for Dan Truong, he believes that the fact that many young artists currently own very high cat-xe is understandable in the context of a strongly changing market.
Young people are very lucky now. Just one viral clip and the whole country knows their names. When you are ranked A, taking advantage of making money quickly is also normal. There are some guys now whose cat-xe is ten or twenty times higher than when we were here. But I think it's impossible to compare like that, because times are different," the male singer expressed.
For Dan Truong, instead of chasing high cat-xe figures, the more important thing is to maintain the love of the audience and be able to sing for a long time. That point of view has helped him maintain his own position in the Vietnamese music scene for more than two decades.
