At noon on August 10, the leader of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Khanh Hoa Provincial Police informed that the authorities had found Mr. Nguyen Ba Khanh C (born 2003, residing in Phan Rang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province) missing on Hoang Nguu Son Mountain on the afternoon of August 4.
The victim was found dead. Currently, the authorities are urgently taking the victim's body to the mountain safely. Relevant agencies are also coordinating to investigate the cause of the incident.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that since the evening of August 4, relatives have not been able to contact Mr. C. After checking, the family determined that C had informed friends and relatives about climbing the mountain to conquer Hoang Nguu Son peak.

The young man's motorbike was also parked at a resident's house at the foot of the mountain, on Do Xuan Hop Street (Nam Nha Trang Ward).
On the morning of August 5, C's friends reported it on their personal page and went to the mountain to search, but there were no traces of C, so they reported it to the authorities.
At 5:00 p.m. on August 5, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 (under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) mobilized rescue vehicles and 7 officers and soldiers to Hoang Ngu Son Mountain for the search.
From the morning of August 6 to the morning of August 10, hundreds of experienced climbers from Khanh Hoa, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak... have connected to support the search for victims.
Along with the strength of people and resources, the search volume has reviewed the entire Hoang Nguu Son mountain area with an altitude of 972 m. Here the terrain is steep, with many cliffs and deep mountain crevices, overgrown with trees.
The incident also made the online community follow and pray for Mr. Nguyen Ba Khanh C to be safe. However, no miracle happened.
