In a new conversation with the media, director Lee Eung Bok of the series "Spooky World" ( Sweet Home ) shared many different stories about season 3 of the show.
The director said that he maximized the time for the appearance of Song Kang and Lee Do Hyun - two actors who grew from "rookies" to "stars" after the film aired with two roles. Acting as Hyun Soo and Eun Hyuk respectively.
Speaking more about this, Lee Eung Bok frankly said: “Didn't we meet again in season 3 after they grew up? It's nice to see them being upright and awesome.
It felt like I met them after they had grown up, and it was even better that Song Kang had become the gloomy Hyun Soo, while Lee Do Hyun had become a "rookie star".
Song Kang and Lee Do Hyun's attitudes towards the film have also changed. They can immerse themselves in the characters even when I'm not directing. I think it's a combination that you can't see in any other work."
Notably, when filming "Spooky World 3", Lee Do Hyun filmed three other works at the same time: "Unearthing the Ghostly Tomb", "My Bad Mother" and "Death Game". However, the director appreciates boyfriend Lim Ji Yeon for always ensuring his schedule.
“We cooperate well even though Do Hyun receives many movie offers. And even though he filmed four works at the same time, his synchronization with each work was very high. Thanks to that, our filming process did not encounter any difficulties."
Previously (July 19), 8 episodes of "Spooky World 3" officially aired. Despite expectations, however, Song Kang and Lee Do Hyun's work received many negative reviews.
Nate news site even said that the final season of the horror series was "boring to watch" with "unnecessary brutal scenes". Along with that, the film's content was criticized for being long and spread out, and the characters' stories were not well done.
On the other hand, although the director said he made the most of the time for Song Kang and Lee Do Hyun's characters, both of them did not have too many attention-grabbing scenes. However, Lee Do Hyun's acting was praised for being more emotional and natural than his co-star.
