According to Page Six, Diddy appeared in court for the first time on October 10 (US time) since being arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit extortion, sex trafficking and transporting people for prostitution.
During the trial, Diddy's mother and 6/7 of the rapper's children were also present.
Diddy, wearing brown prison clothes, smiled and waved to King's son, who was sitting in the second row of the courtroom, before hugging each of his lawyers, The Post reported.
Judge Arun Subramanian set a trial date of May 5. Prosecutor Emily Johnson said the prosecution expected the case to last three weeks, but the additional charges could impact the trial timeline, CNN reported.
Diddy's defense attorney Marc Agnifilo said it could take them a week to come up with a defense.
Diddy's case has revealed many dark corners of the entertainment world. At his peak, Diddy hosted large-scale white parties with a "huge" guest list from 1998 to 2009.
The "White Party" was revealed from many testimonies to be an unimaginable, debauched party with stimulants, drugs and alcohol.
Previously, US media reported that lawyer Tony Buzbee was representing 120 victims in a lawsuit against "music mogul" Diddy (Sean Combs) for sexual abuse and exploitation.
Buzbee revealed that of the 120 new victims, the genders were evenly split between men and women, and that 25 of the victims were minors when the sexual abuse occurred from 1991 to the present. The youngest victims were only 9, 14 and 15 years old.
“One victim, then 9 years old, was taken to an audition in New York for Bad Boy Records (a label founded by Diddy in 1993).
This victim was allegedly sexually abused by Diddy and several others at the studio, with the promise to his parents and himself that he would sign a recording contract,” Buzbee explained.
Attorney Tony Buzbee said “many powerful people” and “many dark secrets” would be exposed at the upcoming trial, including some shocking names.
His team collected “photos, videos and texts” as evidence of sexual assaults involving Diddy.
