On the afternoon of October 28, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province held a periodic press conference for the third quarter of 2024 to inform about the socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2024 and the socio-economic development plan for the last 3 months of 2024.
Informing the press, Mr. Phan Van Giau - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province said that the 1st Red Brick and Ceramic Festival - Green Economy of Vinh Long province in 2024 has been adjusted in time, expected to take place from November 16 - 22 at Vo Van Kiet Street, Ward 9, Vinh Long City and the brick and ceramic production village at Thay Cai canal, Mang Thit district (previously, from November 10 - 16).
Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province added that the Festival will have activities such as: Exhibition fair with 700 - 800 booths; exhibition space, tourism promotion, experience learning about brick and ceramic production villages; organizing performances and setting a Vietnamese record of 102 dishes made from bean curd and served with bean curd for the first time in Vietnam...
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province stated that the event is on a regional scale in the Mekong Delta, and has expanded to invite Ho Chi Minh City and several provinces and cities in the Central and Northern regions to participate.
