Continuing the heat from the opening night, on the evening of June 6, the second competition night with the theme "Heritage" of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2026 took the audience from one surprise to another with lighting performances that could not be more satisfying.
As a showdown between the defending runner-up Z121 Vina Pyrotech of Vietnam and the successful rookie Lux Factory POK 2.0 from France, the second night of competition brought two different approaches but with the same spirit of honoring heritage values.
The French team told the story of Heritage in a performance with the theme "Heritage - Da Nang Shines" (Heritage - Da Nang Shines) in a film-rich and multi-layered fireworks language, recreating layers of cultural sediments intersecting through historical periods and the beauty of Da Nang on the journey of international integration.
Despite being newcomers, the French team took the audience from one surprise to another when turning the sky of Da Nang into a mesmerizing light stage.
Multicolored titanium-tailed cannons, soft falling leaf effects and glitter waterfalls stretching in the air have created layers of images stacked like cultural sediments. The climax of the performance is clusters of gold-plated cannons simultaneously blooming, lighting up the entire Han River, as a tribute to the heritage beauty and vitality of the city by the river.

Meanwhile, the Z121 Vina Pyrotech fireworks team of Vietnam affirmed the class of the defending runner-up of DIFF 2025, bringing to the audience fireworks performances imbued with Vietnamese heritage values, familiar and rich in identity.
A special highlight in the performance of the Vietnamese Z121 team is the recreation of the image of the palm tree - a symbol of the Ancestral Land of Phu Tho - using modern fireworks technology.
The climax was the moment when the sky of Da Nang lit up with fireworks in the melody "Joining Hands" echoing in the Han River sky.
