On the evening of January 1 at My Dinh National Stadium, the special national concert "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" took place grandly, gathering nearly 3,000 professional and amateur artists.
The program lasted 180 minutes, divided into three parts: "The Road of Independence - Unity", "Aspiration for the Fatherland", and "My Fatherland, has never been so beautiful". This is a political and cultural art festival to review the glorious past, honor the people's 50-year achievements and arouse the pride and aspiration for the future for each Vietnamese people.

The program was elaborately staged by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with performances from the Vietnam National Opera and Drama Theater and collaborations with many major artistic units such as the Vietnam Symphony orchestra, the National Academy of Music, the Vietnam Dance Academy...
One of the most emotional moments in the ceremony was the performance of the medley "Mother loves child - What is more beautiful", performed by Pham Thu Ha and the cast of the movie "Red Rain". In particular, the song "Con gi dep hon" - the soundtrack composed by young actor Nguyen Hung - is not only a song, but a soul song, deeply touching the hearts of viewers.


The song "What's more beautiful?" is like a message to the mother in her hometown, sowing in the hearts of listeners the emotions of pride and regret.
Thousands of spectators right under My Dinh Stadium simultaneously turned on flashlights and sang along, creating a deep atmosphere of empathy.




The program is broadcast live on VTV1 and digital platforms of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, expanding the experience to all regions of the country and overseas Vietnamese.
