Right after the organizers issued free tickets for the national concert "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness", the situation of ticket brokers appeared right at the gate of the Hanoi Opera House.
Although the tickets clearly state the words "invitation tickets are not for sale", many tickets are still being sold for up to 2 million VND/ticket.
According to records, thousands of audiences have patiently lined up since the evening of August 28 to receive tickets to the concert. The number of people was so large that long lines stretched across many streets: Le Thanh Tong, Dang Thai Than, Pham Ngu Lao, Trang Tien. Therefore, the organizers had to issue tickets early from 7:30 am on August 29 instead of 9:00 am as planned.
However, after only about half an hour of tickets being distributed, dozens of people appeared at the gate of the Opera House to sell and advertise concert tickets. When they see someone coming to buy, they immediately put up tickets for sale, from single tickets to pair tickets.
When reporters act as buyers approach, dozens of ticket brokers immediately offer tickets at different prices: from 1.2 million to 1.8 million VND/ticket. Some people even confidently said: "Now it's 2 million a ticket, if I'm slow, it will increase".
Meanwhile, when a buyer wants to find tickets at "soft" prices of about 500 thousand VND, they are being rejected wholeheartedly: "There is no such price".

Not only in the Opera House area, ticket sales activities also spread on social networks.
In closed groups, many public posts are being advertised for sale at prices ranging depending on the seating position, even selling in pairs to "attract customers". Audience T.N posted an article selling "1 ticket for stand C, 1 ticket for stand D, single ticket 1.2 million VND/ticket, 2.3 million VND/pair". Many other articles have offered prices equivalent to millions for a ticket. Below the article, there are many comments from people who want to buy them back to go to see the concert because they don't want to lose their queue.

Although tickets are clearly marked as "invitation tickets are not for sale", free tickets are currently being sold publicly. Many people earn a lot of money from buying cheap and then reselling at high prices.
Many audiences expressed their frustration at the situation of ticket brokers blatantly soliciting customers.
Audience Van Minh (from Hanoi) shared: My group of friends and I waited in line for more than 10 hours to get tickets, but the ticket brokers were free to buy and sell to make a profit. I was really upset.
According to the organizers' regulations, each audience is allowed to receive 1 ticket when presenting the original ID card for comparison, applicable to people aged 14 and over. The organizing committee also emphasized that tickets cannot be bought and sold or transferred in any form, and at the same time, they must not be reissued if they are lost or damaged.
