According to the Organizing Committee, the theme "Land of Fragrance and Beauty" continues to inherit the nearly 40-year journey of honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women, while expanding the evaluation criteria in a more comprehensive direction.
Candidates are not only scored through traditional competitions, but also monitored and evaluated throughout through practical activities, community activities and the ability to spread positive values in society.
Speaking at the press conference, journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of Miss Vietnam 2026 emphasized: "Miss Vietnam does not aim for a perfect model according to stereotypes, but seeks representatives who can inspire. The crowned beauties will gather the beauty of intelligence, culture and dedication.
In the new context, a Miss needs to both shine in beauty and have the ability to create positive and sustainable influence in society. Each season is a step forward to get closer to the image of modern Vietnamese women - brave, humane and ambitious to contribute”.
One of the notable new points of this year's season is the application of digital platforms throughout the organization process.
Accordingly, stages from online enrollment, official voting, electronic ticket sales to event check-in using QR codes are all integrated into the same system.
In addition, the contest is hosted for the first time in Hai Phong.
According to the Organizing Committee, expanding the organization space to a rapidly developing and dynamic city not only helps refresh the image of the contest, but also creates conditions to link activities with real-world experiences, from recording, community activities to promoting local culture and tourism.
Regarding the prize structure, in addition to the Miss title, the contest continues to award the titles of 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up along with a sub-award system associated with each field such as charity, tourism - environment, media - art, fashion - sports...
