Sports and Culture Newspaper (VNA) officially announced the nominations for the 20th Cong Hien Award, including 2 award systems: Cong Hien Music Award and Cong Hien Sports Award.
Along with announcing the nomination, the organizers also launched a final round of voting for the public. The final result will be decided based on the summary of votes from the press and the Selection Council, in order to find the most deserving faces to be honored at this year's season. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 15, 2026 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Culture Palace.
The list of Top 5 Official Nominations for the Cong Hien Music Awards 2026 includes 50 nominations spread across 10 categories. In which, the list has officially named 10 best nominations winning in the online voting round through the BVOTE portal.
According to the regulations of this year's Cong Hien Award, the nomination leading the public's vote in each category (from the Top 10 list) will be specially admitted directly to the Top 5 Official Nominations. The remaining 4 positions are determined based on the total score combined with a weighting ratio: 50% from the number of "stars voted" by the audience and 50% from the evaluation score of the Selection Council.
Previously, on March 5, the organizing committee announced the list of Top 10 nominations with a total of 60 nominations. After 10 days of opening the voting portal (from 3:00 PM on March 5 to 23:59 PM on March 15, 2026), 10 excellent nominations who won the right to directly enter the Top 5 Official Nominations have been identified, including:

Musician of the Year: Nguyen Vinh Tien
Male singer of the year: Quoc Thien
Female singer of the year: Hoa Minzy
In addition to identifying the names that will be specially admitted directly as above, the Election Council has started the scoring process and summarized the number of "stars voted" to identify the remaining nominations.
In particular, the typical award winner of Cong Hien will be nominated to participate in the Japan Music Awards (MAJ) organized by Japan Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association. This is an international award with more than 60 categories, aimed at honoring outstanding artists and works worldwide.
