Singer Hong Phuong expressed her frustration with this incident, reminding the audience to verify the source before interacting or trusting.

In this situation, Hong Phuong recommends that the public should access and follow official pages - such as her fanpage or verified social media account to get the most accurate information.

Speaking to reporters, lawyer Hoang Ha - L&P Law Office, Ho Chi Minh City - said that according to Decree 15/2020/ND-CP (amended and supplemented by Decree 14/2022/ND-CP) on penalties for violations in the fields of post, telecommunications, information technology, Article 101 states the act of forging personal information pages of other organizations and individuals (such as artists) to provide and share fake, untrue, slanderous information... will be fined 10-20 million VND for individuals, 20-40 million VND for organizations.
Forced to remove false information, correct and apologize (if affecting reputation).
If the impersonation causes serious damage, it can be handled according to the 2015 Penal Code (amended in 2017) such as: Warning, non-custodial reform for up to 3 years or imprisonment for 3 months - 5 years (if causing serious consequences or committing online crimes).
According to the 2015 Civil Code, the person forged must compensate the artist for material damage and mental losses (mental compensation is a maximum of 10 months of basic salary).
