Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026 promises to attract more than 300,000 visitors

Dak Lak - The 2026 Durian Festival will create a connection between farmers, businesses and tourists in the province and internationally.

On June 20, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee announced that the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026 will take place from August 15 to September 2 in durian growing communes, Buon Ma Thuot ward and Krong Pac commune with many unique activities.

The festival is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with units, aiming to connect farmers, businesses, tourists and management agencies; and at the same time promote the Dak Lak durian brand, promote product consumption and develop tourism.

Within the framework of the festival, many activities will take place such as art photo exhibitions about the lives of durian growers, introduction of durian and OCOP products, product auctions, talk shows about cuisine - nutrition, and tours to experience visiting and enjoying durian at the garden.

The opening ceremony will feature an art program, a durian promotion pickup truck parade, and a reality show "Memories of the Long House" combining 3D mapping technology and Central Highlands music. The activities will be attended by provincial leaders, departments, branches, the Durian Association, businesses and people.

The Organizing Committee also deploys communication activities, livestreams, arranges check-in points to serve tourists; and at the same time ensures security, logistics, environmental sanitation and organizational conditions for the festival to take place safely and effectively.

The festival is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors, contributing to promoting the Dak Lak durian brand, enhancing the value of the industry chain, and promoting the development of agriculture, tourism and trade in the locality.
