On June 30, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that, according to the plan, the total public investment capital assigned by the province in 2026 is 10,469.316 billion VND.
To date, the province has allocated detailed funds to implement tasks and projects with a capital of 9,608.393 billion VND, reaching 91.78%; the remaining capital that has not been allocated in detail is 860.923 billion VND.
As of June 24, units and investors have disbursed 2,244.704 billion VND, reaching 23.51% of the provincial plan.
For the 2025 public investment capital plan, which was allowed by competent authorities to extend the implementation and disbursement time to 2026, the total capital allowed to be extended is 5,623.824 billion VND.
By June 24, units and investors had implemented and disbursed 999.571 billion VND, reaching 17.77% of the total capital allowed to be extended.
According to reports from units and investors, it is estimated that by June 30, 2026, disbursement of the 2026 capital plan will reach 2,704.457 billion VND, equal to 28.33% of the provincial capital plan assigned and equal to 32.62% of the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
This result is 144.926 billion VND higher, equivalent to an increase of 5.66% compared to the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the units.
If the disbursement level is achieved as expected, the disbursement rate of public investment capital in 2026 of Dak Lak province by the end of June is likely to reach and exceed the national average disbursement level.
For capital sources extended from 2025 to 2026, disbursement is expected to reach 1,139.036 billion VND, equal to 20.25% of the total capital allowed to be extended.
The disbursement of public investment capital in the area is closely linked to the construction progress and completion of key projects.
In which, component project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway construction investment project phase 1, so far the construction volume has reached 96.78%.
For the project to invest in the construction of the North-South Expressway in the East phase 2021 - 2025, the section passing through the province, Dak Lak has focused on coordinating to resolve existing problems in the construction process, remove site obstacles to hand over to the investor for implementation.
To date, the project is basically completed and put into operation, with a construction volume of about 99.4% of the contract value.
Mr. Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that for site clearance work, the province identifies this as a key stage, directly affecting the progress of project implementation.
Along with strengthening inspection and urging, the province has launched many movements and emulation campaigns to create clear changes. For example, "Operation 30 days and nights to clear ground for coastal roads".
According to Mr. Thai, the province maintains a daily and weekly progress reporting regime; regularly reviews and classifies slow-progress projects and prolonged backlog projects to have appropriate handling solutions.
Public investment management work continues to be tightened, improving discipline and order; the responsibility of heads of agencies, units, localities and investors is strengthened.
The province resolutely transfers capital for slow-disbursement projects that are unable to complete the plan to ensure the effective use of public investment capital.
