According to recent Korean media updates, BTS member J-Hope is preparing to be discharged from the army in two months due to successfully completing his assigned tasks.
On July 31, photos of J-Hope in military uniform were shared across online communities and X (formerly Twitter).
He is currently appointed as a trainer at the Baekho Recruit Training Center of the 36th Infantry Division.
Accordingly, J-Hope will soon be discharged from the army on October 17. With only two months left until the end of his service term, he attended a recent recruit ceremony.
This is the last group of students that J-Hope will instruct. An officer at the training center proudly said, "We have superstar J-Hope in our unit" and emphasized that this is the last group that J-Hope will teach before being discharged from the army.
In the released videos, J-Hope bowed to the families of these students. He smiled brightly and was friendly with the students. The male idol also supported the students with procedures during the ceremony.
Last October, J-Hope was selected as an "Elite Soldier", attracting considerable attention from the public. When talking about his role as an instructor, J-Hope expressed, "The feeling of accomplishment from this role is as meaningful as my activities with BTS."
