According to the Organizing Committee, Miss World 2026 takes place from August 8 to September 5 in Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Khanh Hoa, with the participation of nearly 120 contestants from countries and territories.
Quang Ninh is the locality that organizes the opening series of activities of the contest from August 8-12.
Activities include welcoming Miss World contestants to Quang Ninh, welcome party, social security activities, the Opening Program of Miss World 2026 - Miss World 2026 with the theme "Welcome Miss World to Quang Ninh - Vietnam" and visiting Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage Site.
Within the framework of the program, contestants will experience and explore Ha Long by 2-story bus; trip by three-walled boat on Ha Long Bay - a new typical tourism product of Quang Ninh.
The contestants also participated in many communication activities, promoting Quang Ninh's cultural and tourism image on domestic and international media platforms.
The opening program is expected to have about 10,000 delegates, people and tourists attending, staged in a modern style, combining performing arts, sound, and lighting with traditional Vietnamese cultural values.
