Accordingly, at about 8:25 pm, fire appeared at a row of kiosks in the area adjacent to Nguyen Thi Hien, Vo Tanh and Nguyen Thuong Hien streets, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai city. Just a few minutes later, the fire spread to many adjacent kiosks, a column of black smoke rose high, which could be observed from afar.
The burned kiosks mainly belong to the area of trading in bamboo and rattan weaving, baskets, causing the fire to spread quickly.
The Fire and Rescue Police Department of Dong Nai City Police mobilized 5 fire trucks and forces to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Police and the Military Command of Tran Bien Ward were deployed to regulate traffic and support firefighting.
Local authorities also requested people living near the fire area to temporarily move out to ensure safety.
Bien Hoa market is located on Nguyen Van Tri street, along the Dong Nai River, in Tran Bien ward. This is one of the oldest traditional markets in the central area of Bien Hoa.
