Then singing can be simply understood as a form of folk performance associated with the spiritual life of some Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups; while the zither is a traditional musical instrument that often goes with Then.
Hoang Dung, a Tay ethnic person, is an important factor in choosing this material. The male singer admitted that he was once hesitant because he was born and raised in the city, not necessarily having enough knowledge to represent the culture of his community.
However, when the group encountered difficulties in finding a direction, he decided to speak up and study with the members, consulting professional opinions.

If the beginning is soft, suggesting a mother's lullaby, then the latter part moves to a stronger rhythm to express the father's instructions. The artists want to evoke the concept of "compatriots" - people of the same origin from the story of "wrapping a hundred eggs".
To perform the performance, the group had to carefully study how to express the lullaby, drumbeat and folk elements. OSAD believes that writing a song with a national spirit is much more difficult than young, familiar compositions, because each melody and word need to be filtered.
Ha An Huy also had to ask his mother, Cheo artist Minh Phuong, to guide him on singing techniques and choose suitable melodies.
Meanwhile, the Quy Tu - Benh Bong Alliance brought Cai Luong and Don ca tai tu into the performance "On Our Soil", recounting the story of Saint Giong from a new perspective.
Don ca tai tu is a typical traditional music form of the South, while cai luong is a stage form that combines singing, music, acting and dialogue. The group also uses musical instruments such as dan bau, dan tranh, dan kim, flute and concave-key guitar to create Southern colors.
After Public Performance 4, Quy Tu - Benh Bong Alliance leads with 5,520 points, Hop Luc - Ruc Ro ranks second with 5,170 points and Nguyen To - My Man ranks third with 5,160 points.
OSAD became Anh Tai Dung Si after the performance "Dai Khai Hoan" with 1,330 points, while Jun Pham once again received the title of General, and continued to rank No. 1 in personal votes.
The performance also closed the journey of Tung Mint and Toki Thanh Tho.
