According to updated data from Box Office Vietnam on the afternoon of August 24, "Summer Break Afraid of Retirement" officially reached a revenue milestone of 100 billion VND. The achievement was established after about 10 days of early screenings and three days of official release.
Previously, the film started early screenings from the evening of August 14. On August 21, the work officially went to theaters and continued to maintain its leading revenue position during the day.
At the end of August 23, "Summer Break Afraid of Retirement" reached about 96 billion VND. On weekends alone, the film sold more than 130,000 tickets through about 3,600 screenings, earning nearly 12 billion VND.
On the morning of August 24, the film's revenue exceeded 97 billion VND. By the afternoon of the same day, the work earned more than 3 billion VND to join the Vietnamese film group with hundreds of billions of VND in revenue.
Summer vacation fears retirement" is Huynh Lap's second film to surpass this milestone, after "Nha gia tien" (Fatherland House). The work released in 2025 once reached about 242.5 billion VND, becoming one of the best-selling Vietnamese films of the year.
