Hoai Linh - Chi Tai
Hoai Linh - Chi Tai's harmony does not come from the formula but from the compensatory personality: Hoai Linh is sharp, transforming, while Chi Tai is "stubborn", simple but permeable.
Hoai Linh recognized the charm in Chi Tai's way of speaking and then invited him to perform together; from then on they became the "most harmonious co-stars" of the comedy stage of a time.
This couple did not "separate" due to conflicts. They closed down because of loss: Chi Tai passed away in 2020, leaving a gap that colleagues and audiences all admit is difficult to fill.
After comedian Chi Tai passed away, artist Hoai Linh still performed comedy with other actors, but the sublimation and harmony were no longer as good as when acting with Chi Tai.
Hoai Linh once shared with reporters that: "For me, Chi Tai is number 1". This shows the harmony and important position of the late artist in Hoai Linh's heart.
Quang Minh - Hong Dao
Quang Minh - Hong Dao used to be typical representatives of overseas comedy: moderate tempo, everyday dialogue, deeply exploiting marriage, family, and the fate of overseas Vietnamese. Their harmony is rooted in married life: understanding the rhythm, understanding the point of departure, and "enough confidence" to give each other a piece.
But private life does not always keep the rhythm of the stage. They married in 1995 in the US and confirmed their breakup after 24 years of attachment. After that, the couple also separated and operated separately.
After the breakup, Quang Minh had a new person and his own happy life.
Currently, Hong Dao is more active when returning to Vietnam to act in movies. She travels between the US and Vietnam to participate in art activities and take care of her children.
Kieu Oanh - Le Tin
Kieu Oanh - Le Tin made their mark in the "neighborhood - family" comedy style, graceful and approachable. Their strength is the ability to create laughter with a "very Southern joke", without needing exaggeration.
After a while, the couple separated to operate separately due to different orientations and Kieu Oanh also wants to collaborate with her husband Hoang Nhat for her shows. Sharing with reporters, Le Tin said that the current relationship with Kieu Oanh is still good and "there are no conflicts as rumored".
In his current life, male comedian Le Tin said that he had undergone liver surgery and his health gradually stabilized.
Meanwhile, Kieu Oanh currently chooses a quiet life, focusing on her family, and more restrained artistic activities.
Tan Bo - Tan Beo
Tan Bo - Tan Beo were once remembered for their popular humor, rich physique and quick response. But then, they separated, operating independently because of Tan Beo's health issues and different views on life.
In recent years, the couple's story no longer lies in glory but in life. Notably, Tan Beo is currently suffering from stage 4 kidney failure, health is declining, and appearance is limited.
While Tan Bo was once in debt, his image also gradually disappeared on major stages.
