Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen has just signed and issued a decision on announcing an emergency landslide situation at locations K3+050 and K3+310 on the right bank of the Pheo River in Tay Tuu ward and issued an Emergency Construction Order to prevent landslides at locations K3+050 and K3+310 on the right bank of the Pheo River.
According to the decision, after storms No. 10 and 11, the water level of the Pheo River rose, causing flooding on both banks and surrounding residential areas, when the water receded, landslides appeared on the right bank of the Pheo River through Phuc Ly 2 residential group at locations K3+050 and K3+310.
Faced with that situation, the City People's Committee requested to immediately implement emergency response measures.
The City People's Committee assigned Song Nhue Irrigation Development One Member Limited Liability Company to coordinate with Tay Tuu Ward People's Committee to strengthen inspection and regularly closely monitor the developments of incidents. Coordinate with Tay Tuu Ward People's Committee in the process of responding if bad situations occur. Perform other tasks depending on the nature of the natural disaster situation and the direction of competent authorities.
Assign Tay Tuu Ward People's Committee to maintain the implementation of warning, propaganda, and guidance for people not to enter the landslide area, implement measures to ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic through the landslide area. Continue to organize handling in the first hour according to the "4 on-the-spot" motto, implement appropriate reinforcement measures to minimize the development of landslides above.
At the same time, organize increased inspection, regularly closely monitor the developments of incidents. In case of detecting the risk of loss of works, report immediately to the City Civil Defense Department.
Assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to direct Song Nhue Irrigation Development One Member Limited Liability Company and Tay Tuu Ward People's Committee to develop a response plan in case of continued construction incidents and proactive response plans if bad situations occur.
In this decision, the City People's Committee issued an order to build an emergency embankment to reinforce and prevent landslides at positions K3+050 and K3+310 on the right bank of the Pheo River in Tay Tuu ward to prevent landslides on the right bank of the Pheo River at positions K3+050 and K3+310 to ensure safety for the project, safety for people and property of people in the area.
