Through her management company BeLift Lab, Minju shared: "I feel extremely honored to meet and accompany every week with so many great artists, warm staff and especially GLLIT friends. From now on, Fridays will definitely be a bit empty. However, I promise to continue to strive as Minju of ILLIT and bring everyone better and better stages.
The female idol said that the role of MC helps her mature significantly in both communication skills and confidence in front of the camera. “I have learned a lot during my time in this position. Although there are still many shortcomings, I am really grateful for always receiving encouragement and love from the audience. I will always cherish the beautiful memories at ‘Music Bank’ throughout the coming time,” Minju expressed.
Minju officially became the 39th female MC of "Music Bank" in October 2024. In more than three months of taking on the role of program host, she scored points with her gentle, cute style and clear progress through each episode. The collaboration between Minju and male MC Moon Sang Min also received many positive feedbacks from the audience thanks to the natural interaction and cheerful atmosphere on stage.
The broadcast on January 30 (Korean time) marked Minju's final stage as MC. In the program, the female idol could not hide her emotion when thanking the production crew, co-hosts and fans who have always followed her throughout the past time. The moment of Minju and Moon Sang Min's breakup quickly spread on social networks, attracting many regretful comments from viewers.
Although leaving the MC position, Minju said she will focus more on activities with ILLIT in the near future. Fans expect the female idol to continue to shine on the music stage and soon return with new projects, after accumulating more valuable experience from her journey at "Music Bank".
