On August 15, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that it had just issued Plan No. 664/KH-UBND on organizing the activity "Marching forward with Vietnam" in the whole province. The program is organized to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security.
According to the plan, from 6:00 a.m. on August 16, the whole province will simultaneously organize a flag-raising ceremony and sing the National Anthem at central locations according to the National Flag-raising ceremony time frame at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, in order to create a solemn and sacred atmosphere, cheering on the spirit of patriotism and national unity.

Right after the flag-raising ceremony, from 6:30 am to 7:30 am, the walking program took place simultaneously at provincial, ward and commune-level centers with the goal of spreading the message "1 billion steps into the new era". This is a community mobilization activity to exercise, contributing to reducing carbon emissions and moving towards a green, sustainable lifestyle.
At the provincial level, the opening ceremony will take place at Ho Chi Minh Square (Truong Vinh ward). The Provincial People's Committee requested Truong Vinh, Thanh Vinh and Vinh Phu wards to mobilize at least 200 people from each ward to participate at the central point from 5:45 a.m. on the same day.

In addition, activities calling on the community to join hands to reduce net emissions by 0 by 2050 will also be organized through the form of propaganda, learning about green lifestyles, mobilizing the construction of environmental protection funds and developing renewable energy.
The Provincial Police is the agency in charge of advising on the organization of activities, coordinating with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and departments, branches, socio-political organizations to assign cadres, civil servants, public employees and union members to participate.
Press, television and news agencies are assigned to promote the program's propaganda, emphasizing the role of activities in educating patriotism, great national unity and raising awareness of health and the environment.
