On March 14, the film crew of "Tiêu nhân: Phong khởi đại mạc" had a promotional event at a cinema in Zhengzhou, Henan (China).
Screenwriter and producer Du Bach Mi, producer and main actor Ngo Kinh, along with actors Bach Na Nhat To, Luong Bich Huynh, Ly Gia Huy exchanged enthusiastically with the audience.
On the same day, the film crew's official account announced an extension of the theatrical release time to April 16. At the event, Wu Jing also revealed that the film is requesting to continue extending the release time to May 20.
Wu Jing explained that this originated from a line in the movie: "April 4th, when peach blossoms bloom", which is May 20th of the solar calendar.
The 4th day of the 4th lunar month is the time when the characters Tri The Lang (played by Ta Dinh Phong) and Dao Ma (played by Ngo Kinh) meet, symbolizing the aspiration for a peaceful world.
Wu Jing also said that he wants to see how far today's martial arts films can go.

According to media reports, when requesting an extension of the broadcast time, "The Goblin" is aiming for a revenue target of 1.5 billion RMB. Wu Jing repeatedly emphasized: "The next part needs audiences to use movie tickets to vote", implying that if box office revenue meets expectations, the part 2 project will be strongly promoted.
When interacting with the audience, Ngo Kinh also had a humorous joke with the original comic book author Hua Tien Triet. He laughed and urged the author to update the new chapter: "Comedy comics have not reached Chang'an for 10 years, the progress of the film is about to catch up with comics".
This joke is actually a frank statement pointing out the reality that the progress of the film adaptation of "Tiêu nhân" has almost caught up with the progress of publishing the original story of this work.
As the "dark horse" of the 2026 Tet movie season, "Tieu Nhan: Phong Khoi Dai Mac" is adapted from the first 5-6 episodes of the comic series of the same name written by Xu Xianjie (the "Damac" part).
The film is directed by Vien Hoa Binh, with the participation of Ngo Kinh, Ta Dinh Phong, Ly Lien Kiet, Bach Na Nhat To, Luong Bich Huynh, Ly Gia Huy...
Since its release on February 17, the film has reversed the box office trend thanks to positive word-of-mouth. As of March 14, accumulated revenue has exceeded 1.3 billion CNY - breaking the revenue record of Chinese martial arts films.
Producer Du Bach Mi said that the total production and promotion cost of the film is about 450 million CNY, and it has now recovered stable capital.
At the end of the film, the scene of Dao Ma and his teammates riding horses towards Truong An also makes many viewers look forward to the next part.
Previously, original author Hua Tien Triet confirmed that "The Chang'an part has begun to be written". He revealed that he has completed the sketch of the first volume of the Chang'an part and is entering the detailed drawing stage.
Author Hua Tien Triet is also expected to directly participate in the script and worldview development process for the next part of "Tiêu nhân".
Besides, in the exchange, when talking about his action movie acting career, Wu Jing said that he took Jackie Chan as a role model, and said: "As long as you can fight, fight as long as you can, fight until you can't fight anymore".
