Why did you choose " Say a song for me" to return after a long period of silence?
- I learned about this song when the AI voice version spread on TikTok. The gentle ballad melody and romantic lyrics impressed me, but I thought only the real singer could convey enough emotions. AI can create melodies, but only experience and the heart of an artist can make the audience move.
Is there information that you bought the copyright of the song when many other singers were also interested but did not buy it successfully?
- I directly contacted musician Ken Quach and Huong MyBong. Before that, some singers offered but they still did not agree. I expressed my desire to make the MV seriously, so both of them agreed to let me release the MV, but I am not the exclusive owner of the song. I cherish that trust and force myself to make the best product.
So, you are not an exclusive buyer and the song has not been sold to any artist yet?
- That's right! Ken Quach and HuongMyBong did not have an agreement to sell the song to me but only cooperated to let me release the MV. Maybe they have their own development direction for this song and I respect that.
Many people think that "competing for a voice" with the AI version is risky, what do you think?
- I consider it an interesting experience. AI is fast, novel, easy to create effects, but the voice is harsh, inflexible and cannot convey deep feelings. The audience needs breath, emotions, pain or happiness in singing - something AI cannot do. AI is just a supporting tool, it cannot replace artist voice.
When the MV was released and compared to AI, how did you feel?
- I received many positive responses, feeling happy because my efforts were recognized. The comparison accidentally helped the song spread, but I don't consider AI as a rival.
With the development of AI, how will you orient music?
- I want to try many genres, combine technology but keep the real emotions. Technology helps products catch trends, but if there is no heart, it will only stop at technology. The audience stays with the artist for a long time because they feel the sincerity of the artist's voice and personality.
If AI sings better than humans in technique, what helps singers truly maintain their position?
- The answer lies in emotions. AI has no memories, experiences, hurt or happiness to convey. The audience who love a singer loves their life story, journey and way of life - the AI that can never replace them.
After the MV "Say a lifetime for you" received positive feedback, what long-term plans do you have for this product?
- I will donate all revenue from the MV to the "For Children's Smiles" fund to help care for and support disadvantaged children across the country. Each view, like or share of the MV not only brings musical joy but also spreads hope, love and human values to the community, creating meaningful actions, connecting the hearts of the audience with unfortunate children.

- Youth comes from the soul, not age. Music helps me maintain positive energy. I want each product to always be new and serious. Progressing and constantly learning help me maintain a position in the hearts of the audience.
Are you afraid of being told "outdated" in front of a young singer group?
- I find young singers like Duc Phuc and Phuong My Chi very good, I used to hope that in my past, there would be outstanding social networks and better art promotion activities so that we can satisfy our passions.
However, each generation has its own audience. The young singer is dynamic and new; we have experience and depth of emotions. I respect and learn from young people and always find ways to innovate to maintain my identity.
