On the afternoon of October 1, in Hanoi, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung chaired the conference.
At the conference, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Hoang Dang Quang announced the Politburo's decision.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee - would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; transfer, assign, and appoint her to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung emphasized that the appointment is to strengthen and supplement leaders for the Central Organizing Committee in the context that the Party's strategic advisory agencies are focusing on the tasks for the upcoming Central conferences and towards the 14th National Party Congress; at the same time, creating a source of cadres for the Committee in the short term and in the long term.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee said that the Politburo had highly agreed on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van.
According to the Head of the Central Organizing Committee, the appointment is not only an assessment, recognition and trust of the Politburo for Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van personally, but also has the meaning of increasing the participation of female leaders, holding key leadership positions in the Party's and the Central's strategic advisory agencies.
In the coming time, there will be a large amount of work, high requirements such as advising on Party regulations and documents, preparing for upcoming Central conferences, the work of the Subcommittees, preparing to organize the 14th National Party Congress, the Head of the Central Organizing Committee emphasized that the appointment of a capable and experienced cadre in Party building work will contribute significantly to the completion of the tasks of the Committee. At the same time, he believed that Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Van would promote her experience and capacity from the grassroots level, unite with the collective, and lead the Board to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, the new Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van respectfully thanked the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the leaders of the Party and State for their attention, trust, and assignment of the task.
