According to the content of the document issued by OPIC Law Company Limited and Associates on May 17, 2026, this unit said it is representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Hai Dang Doo, Lou Hoang and the management company. The lawyers affirmed that recently many posts, videos, and photoshopped images have appeared on platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads... with content accusing artists of using laughing gas and hiring prostitutes.
Notably, the document stated that the incident originated from a short clip posted on Facebook by an account named "Phuong Thao Nhu". However, the representative side emphasized that this clip completely does not contain images of Lou Hoang as well as no evidence showing that artists used banned substances, laughing gas, hired prostitutes, bought and sold sex or were handled by functional agencies.
According to OPIC lawyers, the fact that some individuals use artist images to speculate, edit and spread negative information has seriously affected the honor and reputation of singers. Legal representatives argue that these contents are fabricated, slanderous and show signs of violating the law.
Representatives of Hai Dang Doo and Lou Hoang also said that there are currently no official conclusions from functional agencies related to the allegations circulating on social networks. The lawyers emphasized that accusing the artist of "using banned substances" only based on the image of an unclear origin ball is unfounded.
The lawyers requested individuals, fanpage administrators, groups and social networking platforms to immediately remove articles, images, videos and comments that are accusatory and distorted related to the two artists. At the same time, this unit warned that it will coordinate with functional agencies to strictly handle cases of continuing to spread false information after the warning letter is published.
Currently, Hai Dang Doo and Lou Hoang said they will continue to collect legal evidence to protect the image, honor and legitimate rights of artists against negative information in cyberspace.
