The work is adapted from the novel "Duong Cung Ky An Chi Huyet Ngoc Tiet" by author Sam Lam Loc, revolving around the mysterious cases in the inner court of the Dai Duong dynasty, interwoven with elements of investigation, intellectual battle and human fate.
The film features the participation of two main actors, Bach Loc and Vuong Tinh Viet. The content opens with a mysterious case that occurs during the Nguyen Tieu period, when Princess Ninh Vien suddenly dies in a womb. According to the investigation order, Ly Boi Nghi - a female official of the Internal Affairs Department - and Thai Su Thu Tieu Hoai Can of Thai Su Department join hands to clarify the truth.
Ly Boi Nghi is the central character of the film, built with a smart, highly skilled martial image, capable of understanding people's hearts. Outwardly cold but inwardly honest, she considers solving cases not only to hunt for the truth but also to be a tense intellectual battle with the perpetrator. Accompanying her is Tieu Hoai Can - who possesses a tight and cautious mindset. The harmonious coordination between the two characters helps to gradually peel off layers of secrets, from noble figures in the palace to Kim Ngo Ve carrying many hidden feelings.
After the first case, a series of complex murders continued to occur in the inner court, associated with the fate of the daughters of the rear palace. Cases such as "Flowers on the stone wall", "Secret rumors of good hour"... gradually revealed a gloomy picture of power in the imperial palace. During the investigation, Ly Boi Nghi and Tieu Hoai Can not only explored the majestic scenes of Dai Duong but also felt humanity, and at the same time got closer to the truth about the massacre of the Ly family that occurred 15 years ago.
According to information from the film crew, the film is currently entering the promotional phase, with a filming and recording schedule to serve the media expected to take place from January 12.
