Portrait of a soldier on golden hour film
With the desire to convey and vividly and authentically portray the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the resistance war against foreign invaders and in peacetime, towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army in collaboration with Vietnam Television launched a TV series called "No Time".
The film's content interweaves the past and present, through the story of Lieutenant Colonel Le Nguyen Dai (played by actor Manh Truong) and his comrades to fully and authentically portray the portrait of Uncle Ho's soldiers in each period.
If in the past content, the audience can see the sacrifices and hardships of soldiers during the years of resistance with the determination to regain independence for the nation, then in the present content, it is a picture depicting the portrait of soldiers in peacetime with patriotism, courage, and readiness to sacrifice themselves to protect people's lives from natural disasters and epidemics.
The interweaving of past and present will help the audience have a comprehensive view of the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, of the fine traditions of the Vietnam People's Army that have always been inherited and promoted in every stage of the work of protecting, building and preserving peace for the country and the people.
At the press conference to launch the film, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc, Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, said that the film "Space of Time" highlights the three functions of our Army: the fighting army, the working army, and the production labor army.
He emphasized: “Compared to last year's film “War Without Borders”, “Spacetime” is much more expansive, fully reflecting the image of a new-age soldier.”
Playing the role of Lieutenant Colonel Le Nguyen Dai, Manh Truong will portray the image of a people's army soldier in peacetime, upright and devoted to the country and the people.
