According to a representative of Phuong My Chi's management company, VMAS, the spreading content related to Phuong My Chi's "use of banned substances" was disseminated in the form of clip clips, malicious comments and unfounded speculation, seriously affecting the reputation, honor and image of the artist.
The management company requests social media accounts that have posted and shared the above-mentioned misinformation to quickly remove the content, and at the same time stop the act of spreading and inferring without verifying the information. VMAS also emphasized that it will take necessary legal measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of artists.
We will handle it to the end, without compromise with any individuals or organizations that intentionally infringe on the honor and prestige of artist Phuong My Chi. Depending on the severity of the violation, the parties involved may have to bear civil or criminal liability according to legal regulations if there are sufficient grounds," the VMAS representative said.
One day earlier, a series of shocking clips appeared on many social media platforms such as "Phuong My Chi, Huynh Lap arrested for using banned substances". These videos quickly attracted a large number of views, comments and shares, causing no small amount of audience confusion.
Not only Phuong My Chi, recently many Vietnamese artists have also become victims of similar false rumors. Previously, Quyen Linh and Nhat Kim Anh had been spreading false information such as "being arrested" or "fleeing after the prosecution order".
