This morning, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a conference to collect voter opinions at the Ministry for those who are introduced to run for National Assembly deputy of the 16th term.
The Conference discussed and agreed to introduce Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Minister, to run for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh is an official who grew up from Youth Union work, trained through many important positions at the Central and local levels. She is always assessed as a female official with capacity, bravery, enthusiasm, and many initiatives and imprints in work.
In positions from Youth Union work, Central Propaganda and Training Commission (now Central Propaganda and Training and Mass Mobilization Commission), to Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee and working at the Party Central Committee Office, Ms. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh has completed her assigned tasks well, demonstrating her capacity, strategic advisory thinking, high sense of responsibility and serious and objective working style.
Although she just came to work at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, she has proactively grasped the situation and work of the Ministry, showing determination to successfully complete the assigned responsibilities and tasks.
The Minister affirmed that her introduction was carried out in accordance with procedures, ensuring the provisions of law.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Minister Lam Thi Phuong Thanh said that participating in the election of National Assembly deputies is both an honor and a great responsibility. The National Assembly is the highest state power body, playing a decisive role in major issues of the country, building the Constitution, laws and performing important supervisory functions.
If trusted by voters to be elected as a National Assembly delegate, she affirmed that she will strive to perform well the role of representative of the people, representative of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector; listen to and reflect the opinions of voters in her workplace, where she is running for election, and voters nationwide; constantly learn and cultivate to meet the requirements before the comprehensive and multi-sectoral issues of the country.
In her current position at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, she is committed to striving, dedicating all her enthusiasm and responsibility to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Previously, in the afternoon of January 15, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment organized a Conference to collect opinions from voters in their workplaces for people expected to be introduced to run for National Assembly deputy of the 16th term.
100% of voters present voted unanimously to introduce Minister Tran Duc Thang, Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien and Deputy Director of the Department of Management and Construction of Irrigation Works Luong Van Anh to run for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term.
Voters' opinions affirmed that Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Environment, is a cadre with a firm stance, viewpoint, and political bravery; serious, regularly striving, cultivating qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; with a spirit of solidarity, gathering, and creating high consensus within the Party.
He has a proper, respectful, and receptive attitude in coordination with organizations and individuals; is deeply involved in reality; and is dedicated and responsible for the problems of organizations and individuals.

Vietnam National University, Hanoi recently also organized a conference to collect opinions from voters at the place of work to introduce personnel who are introduced to run for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and Hanoi City People's Council deputies.
Voters unanimously introduce Director of Vietnam National University Hanoi Hoang Minh Son to run for National Assembly Deputy of term 16. Voters also unanimously introduced Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tu, Head of the Science and Innovation Committee and Ms. Hua Thanh Hoa, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, to run for National Assembly Deputy of term 16 and to run for National Assembly Deputy of Hanoi City People's Council of term 17.
