Billboard has just announced the World Albums chart for the end week, with the dominance of Kpop artists.
Stray Kids' latest mini album "This & That" returns to number 1 position in its fourth week on World Albums. This is the third consecutive week that the product has not held the top spot.
This & That" also continued to be present on the Billboard 200, ranking 16th in its fourth week. The achievement shows that the album's sales were maintained after the early release phase.
Following Stray Kids is Enhypen. The mini album "The Sin: Bliss" held 2nd place on World Albums in its second week, and also ranked 24th on the Billboard 200.
NCT 127 had a notable debut with the album "Blingy". The product debuted at No. 3 World Albums and No. 129 Billboard 200. This is the 9th time NCT 127 has a product on the Billboard 200.
Cortis occupied two positions in the chart. The EP "Greengreen" ranked 4th after 18 weeks, while the debut EP "Color Outside the Lines" held 6th place and had 52 weeks of presence on World Albums.
BTS continues to show the vitality of products released many years ago when up to 3 albums appear together.
Proof" ranked 5th and spent 221 weeks on World Albums. Notably, this is a compilation album released by BTS since 2022.
Two other products of the group also returned to higher positions. "Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~" rose to 9th, while "Love Yourself: Tear" ranked 19th.
Love Yourself: Tear" was released in 2018, showing that BTS's old products continue to be listened to and bought by audiences after many years.
In addition to Stray Kids, BTS, Enhypen and NCT 127, many other Kpop artists also covered World Albums this week.
Ateez ranked 7th with "Golden Hour: Part. 5" in its 10th week. Le Sserafim held 11th place with "Pureflow", marking its 15th week on the chart.
Illit ranked 13th with "Mamihlapinatapai", aespa ranked 15th with "Lemonade".
Notably, NewJeans' "Get Up" is still in 17th place after 156 weeks. The mini album was released in 2023 but continues to maintain its vitality on the Billboard chart.
Yeonjun (TXT) closed the Kpop artist group mentioned with the solo mini album "No Labels: Part 02", ranking 21st in its eighth week.
This week's results continue to show the large presence of Kpop on World Albums. Besides the new products of Stray Kids, Enhypen or NCT 127, the albums released many years ago by BTS and NewJeans still maintain a notable ranking.
