Rapper Nhan's faded career before being arrested for drug involvement

Đông Du |

Rapper Nhan has a lackluster and less attractive career in the entertainment industry.

Mai The Nhan - an underground rapper who was once noticed in the South - is becoming a name causing a stir on social networks after being arrested in a particularly serious drug case dismantled by the Ho Chi Minh City Police.

According to information from functional agencies, Mai The Nhan is in the group of 140 subjects being handled related to the line of buying, selling, storing and organizing the illegal use of drugs. The male rapper is identified as one of the important links in the case.

Before getting into trouble with the law, Mai The Nhan used to operate in the underground rap community under the stage name Mr. Nhan. Born in 1992, the male rapper is from Ho Chi Minh City and started pursuing rap from around 2012. At that time, the male rapper used the rap name MTN and was known for his street-style musical colors.

Not following the commercial or mainstream direction, Mr. Nhan chose a edgy style, with many life materials. The male rapper once founded BR Boiz group with dozens of members, mainly operating in the Southern region.

Mr. Nhan's most notable mark comes from the track "Under in Tao" - a product that was widely shared in the underground rap community in the early 2010s. After that, the male rapper participated in many joint music projects in the group SGM.

Some products that Mr. Nhan has participated in include "Old but gold", "Ngẫm", "Ma cỏ", "Lão nhị khải hoàn ca"... However, his career has not made a big step to reach the popular rap market.

According to information from the investigating agency, Mai The Nhan had a previous conviction. After serving his sentence and returning, the male rapper continued to participate in illegal activities instead of stabilizing his life.
