On June 5, Binh Phu Ward Police coordinated with relevant units to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire at a house on Ly Chieu Hoang street, Binh Phu ward.
Initial information, at about 10:30 PM on June 4th, a fire broke out at a house on Ly Chieu Hoang street, Binh Phu ward. The house has 2 layers of doors (rolled doors and drawn iron doors), so when the fire broke out, black smoke poured straight from the ground floor to the upper floors - where 6 people in a family were resting.

Discovering the fire, people in the house panicked and cried for help. The fire was about a few dozen meters from the Binh Phu Ward Police headquarters, so when they heard shouts, the grassroots security force mobilized fire extinguishers to the scene to deploy fire fighting. Because the rolling door was locked tightly, the grassroots security force and people together broke and lifted the rolling door, cut the iron door lock to let smoke and fire inside escape.
Local security forces used mini fire extinguishers to deploy firefighting, and at the same time guided people inside the house to escape through a exit through a neighbor's house. All 6 members of the house were safely taken out. The fire was extinguished in time, some items used for trading were burned and heavily damaged.

The Fire and Rescue Team KV6 (Fire and Rescue Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) mobilized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to be present to handle the scene.
A resident living in the burned house said that the house rented the ground floor for a restaurant business, and family members lived on the upper floors. At the time of the fire, the tenants had just cleaned up the shops and closed the doors to leave when the incident occurred.
