In a conversation with Lao Dong reporter, actor To Dung shared that he had finished filming his final scene, officially ending his role on October 22. To Dung is currently preparing for a performance at the Vietnam Drama Theater.
With the role of Toan in "The Wind Across the Blue Sky", To Dung is loved by the audience. Many of his scenes were shared across social networking platforms, and the audience voted him as the most impressive actor of The Wind Blows the Blue Sky.
Sharing about the role of Toan, To Dung said that he spent time researching the character very carefully. He built Toan a life, personality, and psychological development different from the original "30 is not everything" of China.
"The character Toan is quite heavy. There were periods of filming 4-5 consecutive days without any laughter from the character, only arguments, only frustration, only resentment and dissatisfaction with each other. That creates a feeling of fatigue and terrible pressure for the actors. Therefore, in the scene where I was upset with Lam (Quynh Kool) before going to work, I didn't have to act anymore but I lived with the character. I allow myself, and Toan to be unleashed and explode emotions.
When acting, I focus all my energy on the character, I don't think about whether the audience will like acting like this or not. The most important thing is that I believe in the action and reasonable psychology of the character. When I acted in Toan Cried, there would be people who would say that every generation, characters like Toan would cry like that, but for me, Toan would have to do that, because Toan had held on for the previous 27 episodes To Dung shared about the role.
Sharing about co-star Quynh Kool, To Dung commented that Quynh Kool is getting more and more mature.

"In the marriage between Toan and Lam (Quynh Kool), we did not have scenes of when we were in love. The film started, we were married, there were conflicts in our married life. Many viewers will ask why Toan - Lam get together with different personalities? Our acting needs to have cohesion and convince the audience that we used to love each other, were happy, but because of the changes in life, the decisions, the conflicts arose, and the love life also changed" - To Dung said.
To Dung's full name is To Tuan Dung, born in 1991, graduated from Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema. He is currently a member of the Vietnam Drama Theater. To Dung participated in many TV series projects and had his own mark in acting, from Marriage Contract, Life Is Still Beautiful, Warm Fire... to the Green Sky South Wind.
To Dung is praised for his natural acting, good acting skills, and different dialogue when acting on stage... To Dung said, "As a stage actor, when acting in a TV series, I am very aware of the need to adjust and change acting and acting. Before, I was also affected to some extent by the way I acted on stage, but when I made many films, I had to be self-aware about how to act. Stage performance and stage dialogue will need to be more strict, acting in films will require everyday, authentic, and delicate emotions".

To Dung once played the role of the storm-prone Dien in the movie "Is Life Still Beautiful?". Initially, Dien was just a very small role. When To Dung transformed, turning Dien into a lively character, loved by the audience, the screenwriter wrote more details and fates for the role of Dien - so that the character had more screen time to act.
