Information that businesswoman Tran Le Hoa passed away at the age of 85 on April 5 in Beijing after a period of treatment caused public uproar. As the Honorary Chairman of Phu Hoa International Group, and also the founder of the Chinese Zi Dan Museum, she is considered one of the most influential female entrepreneurs.
Her funeral was scheduled to be held on April 9. In a sharing with the media, artist Ma Dehua - who played Zhu Bajie in the classic 1986 Journey to the West movie - confirmed that he would be present to see off his close friend. He said: "I will definitely come," as an affirmation of a deep friendship that has lasted for more than three decades.
According to revelations, the relationship between Tran Le Hoa and Ma Duc Hoa did not stop at family affection through her husband Tri Trong Thuy - who played Tang Sanzang in "Journey to the West 1986". After getting married in 1990, she quickly became close to the members of the film crew. Although a successful businesswoman, she was always commented on as humble, approachable and kind.
Ma Dehua emotionally recalled that during the film crew's reunions, Tran Le Hoa often personally prepared everything thoughtfully, from the location to the meal, despite her busy schedule. When he was injured in the process of working, she also directly visited and arranged caregivers. "She is like an older sister, very sincere and warm," the male artist shared.
The passing of Tran Le Hoa not only made friends regretful but also left a big void in her husband's life - actor Tri Trong Thuy. The two have been married for 36 years, overcoming many prejudices to bond strongly. After getting married, he gradually withdrew from the entertainment industry to support his wife's career development and jointly preserve zither culture.
Currently, Tri Trong Thuy's condition worries many people. According to Ma Dehua, he is falling into a state of mental breakdown, unable to relieve the pain of losing his partner. Some images circulating online show the actor appearing at the Yu Dan Museum with a haggard, taciturn appearance, often quietly standing in front of artifacts associated with the memories of the couple.
Sources said that since his wife passed away, Tri Trong Thuy has hardly left the museum - the place that has preserved Tran Le Hoa's lifelong passion. He spends a lot of time here as a way to remember and cherish common memories.
Currently, the preparations for the memorial service are underway. The Tử Đàn Museum has opened space for the public to visit. Many people, artists and businessmen have come to lay flowers and express their condolences to the talented businesswoman.
