On May 9, representatives of Lan Anh and Trong Dong stages in Ho Chi Minh City confirmed to reporters that the stage had stopped operating.

Trong Dong stage (HCMC) closed due to degraded facilities, no more live shows, and music events taking place. Currently, this place is used as a parking lot.

Lan Anh Music Stage (HCMC) also officially announced its closure in early May, after nearly three decades of operation.

The stage of Lan Anh and Trong Dong once famous. Not only are they a gathering place for performances, they are also a place to preserve the youth of many generations of audiences and artists.

Lan Anh stage, born in 1997, associated with the Blue Wave program, has been held continuously for 19 years, from brilliant performances to emotional award ceremonies.

Trong Dong stage, born in 1989, brings a different breath with a close outdoor space. From grand live shows to cozy music nights, Trong Dong has been the "home" of artists and audiences for more than three decades.

2 stages that were once associated with stars

In 2019, the stage opposite was rumored to have closed, but the management board of Trong Dong denied it. At the end of 2019, many artists reunited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the stage's establishment.

Trong Dong stage was once associated with the entertainment life of the audience at one time, supporting many names: Ngoc Anh, Quang Linh, Ngoc Son, Phuong Thanh, Dan Truong, Hien Thuc, Thanh Thao, Bao Chung, Nhat Cuong, Tan Beo...

In particular, this place is a familiar place, associated with many famous artists such as Hoai Linh, Tran Thanh...

Comedians Hoai Linh, Truong Giang, Chi Tai, Tran Thanh... have organized live shows and mini shows at Trong Dong stage, attracting the attention of the audience.

In 2016, comedian Hoai Linh organized a live show "Life is very rich... That's it, laugh first" with more than 4,000 audiences attending. The show had the participation of Meritorious Artist Ngoc Giau, Chi Tai, Truong Giang, Nhat Cuong, Thu Trang and many young faces such as Hoai Lam, Duong Trieu Vu, Thanh Duy.

Tran Thanh in the skits "The Role People" at his and Truong Giang's mini show took place at Trong Dong stage in February 2017. With his humor and witty, the famous comedian has repeatedly brought a refreshing laugh to the audience.

Former artist Chi Tai has held live shows many times at Trong Dong stage. In 2016, he organized the live show "Rates of a falling love" with the participation of many close colleagues and juniors such as Truong Giang, Tran Thanh, Thu Trang...

Since 1998, Lan Anh stage has become the first place where the Green Wave program organizes shows and awards ceremonies and over the past 30 years, this place has witnessed the rise of many generations of singers such as Lam Truong, Phuong Thanh, Dan Truong, Ho Quynh Huong, My Tam, Dam Vinh Hung, Uyen Linh, Hoang Dung...
