In the new plan for TREASURE, Yang Hyun Suk revealed a change in leadership within the group. Choi Hyun Suk and Jihoon will step down as leaders. Junkyu and Asahi will take on new roles starting January 1, 2025.
The decision came after an internal proposal to implement a rotating leadership system, changing every two to three years.
Yang Hyun Suk emphasized the challenges and responsibilities of leading a 10-member group, while highlighting the importance of this new system.
TREASURE's upcoming single, "Last Night," will be released on December 5. The group is also preparing for a new mini album in February 2025, followed by a full studio album scheduled for release in July or August of the same year 2025.
According to Yang Hyun Suk, the new single will show a softer, more sincere, more "honest" side of TREASURE, creating a contrast with the boldness of their previous songs such as "KING KONG", "JIKJIN" and "BONA BONA".
TREASURE fans can also look forward to a fan meeting in March 2025 and a world tour kicking off in October 2025.
Yang Hyun Suk added that 2025 is a pivotal year for YG Entertainment, promising to be the "busiest year ever" for the company.
