According to Korean media, Rose and Bruno Mars' music video for their hit collaboration single "APT" has surpassed 400 million views on YouTube.
The song was originally released on October 18 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning it took just over 35 days and 14 hours to reach this milestone.
In addition to becoming the fastest music video to reach 400 million views in 2024 by any artist of any genre, "APT" set two new K-pop records on YouTube.
"APT" is not only the fastest music video by a Kpop solo artist to reach 400 million views, but also the fastest music video by a Kpop female artist.
Notably, Rose also broke the previous record set by Blackpink's "How You Like That" (which took about 43 days to reach 400 million views) in 2020.
The single "APT." created a global fever when it was released on October 18, breaking records worldwide.
The single achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) on domestic music charts, topped the Spotify chart in the US, reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart in 40 regions, and ranked No. 1 on China's largest music platform, QQ Music, dominating both the Americas and Asia at the same time.
Furthermore, "APT." debuted at number 8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, marking the highest position for a female K-pop artist and the first single by a female K-pop solo artist to debut in the top 10.
On the UK Official Singles Chart, the single debuted at number 4 and later climbed to number 2, setting another record for female K-pop artists.
