According to Korean media, after announcing the termination of the exclusive contract with ADOR, NewJeans had new shares.
They further explained that they had made a final request for ADOR to address the company’s breaches of contract. Despite a 14-day period to remedy the situation, ADOR refused to comply and none of the requested issues were resolved.
Therefore, after terminating the exclusive contract with ADOR, the group will continue their activities independently, independent of ADOR and HYBE.
In addition, NewJeans also said that they were deeply hurt and shocked by many false reports posted in the media.
"We sincerely hope that such situations will not occur after the termination of our contract," the group said.
Talking about their expectations for the future, the members shared, "We will continue to do our best to bring good music to our fans. We hope you will continue to support and encourage us in our future endeavors."
