Comrade Nguyen Thi Dinh (Ms. Ba Dinh) was born on March 15, 20, in Luong Hoa commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province, participated in the revolution since 1936, and held many important positions assigned by the Party and the State. With 56 years of steadfast and exemplary revolutionary activities, striving for national liberation and revolution, no matter the position or position, she always completed her tasks well.
A life of fighting and sacrificing, female general Nguyen Thi Dinh became a legend, not only representing the Southern women as the steel land of "Heroes - Incestuate - Middle- ao dai - Black and Black", but also being a typical model for Vietnamese women. The life and contributions of female general Nguyen Thi Dinh are a shining example for today's and future generations to follow.

According to Secretary of the Giong Trom District Party Committee Nguyen Thai Binh, the three-room house where the female general was born and died fighting for the liberation of her homeland and country has now been restored to its original state and is carefully cared for and preserved. The female general had an older brother, Mr. Nguyen Van Chan (Ba Chan), who was enlightened and participated in the revolution early. In this house, Ms. Ba Dinh listened to Mr. Chan and his friends give lectures and discuss "state affairs", from which the awareness of the revolution began to grow in her heart.
During the war years, the hamlet where Ms. Ba Dinh's family was born and raised was always subjected to many fierce bombs and bullets. Behind the house, a bomb hole is still wide and deep, even after half a century.
According to Ms. Ba Dinh's relatives, when she was still alive, Ms. Ba Dinh advised her to keep it intact to preserve it for future generations to see and understand more about history, just need to reinforce and clean the mouth of the hole. Following instructions, the family did not fill the bomb hole, but kept it. This is considered a reminder of war to remind children and future generations to live worthy of their homeland, with the steadfastness, indomitable spirit and fighting spirit of our army and people in the time of storms and war to regain independence today.
With those typical values, on December 12, 2024, the People's Committee of Ben Tre province issued Decision 2973/QD-UBND on the ranking of the provincial-level historical and cultural relic "The birth and growth of female general Nguyen Thi Dinh" in Luong Hoa commune, Giong Trom district.
