According to PV's records, in the first days of the new year Binh Ngo Tet 2026, a large number of people and visitors from all directions flocked to Tay Yen Tu Spiritual - Ecological Tourist Area (Tay Yen Tu commune, Bac Ninh province) to enjoy spring.
Tay Yen Tu Spiritual - Ecological Tourist Area is built to recreate the Buddhist Dharma propagation road of the ancestors of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect. Currently, the tourist area owns many outstanding works, attracting tourists such as: Central Square, Hoa Nghiem Pagoda, Linh Thong Pagoda and especially the Tay Yen Tu cable car system taking tourists to the Dong Pagoda area to worship Buddha.

Taking advantage of the first Tet holidays of the year, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son (a tourist from Hanoi) and his wife chose Tay Yen Tu as the starting point for their spring travel journey.
Mr. Son shared: "The tourist area is quite large but there is an electric car system that is very convenient for transportation. In previous times, I had visited the works below but had not had the opportunity to take the cable car to Dong Pagoda. Therefore, this time, the couple decided to experience the cable car route to go to the sacred peak to worship Buddha and pray for peace.

Also during the Tet holiday, Ms. Hoang Thi Cham Pa (Bac Ninh) and her family made a journey to Dong Pagoda from the West Yen Tu direction. Ms. Cham Pa said: "It is Tet holiday, so the number of pilgrims is very large, the road to Dong Pagoda sometimes experiences local congestion, making it difficult to move, but my family members all feel happy. Everyone wants to reach the top of Dong Pagoda to pray for luck and peace for their families in the new year.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan - Operations Director of Tay Yen Tu Spiritual - Ecological Tourist Area said that from the 1st to the end of the 5th day of Tet, the tourist area welcomed about 30,000 visitors, of which the number of visitors using cable car services reached about 19,000.

According to the plan, by the 12th day of the first lunar month, the tourist area will officially organize the Yen Tu Spring Festival opening ceremony for the year of Binh Ngo, expected to welcome about 10,000 visitors on the opening day.
“We arrange 70 officials and employees on duty at various locations, along with about 60 personnel from security and sanitation forces to serve tourists. The unit also mobilized a maximum of 45 cable car cabins and 15 electric vehicles to meet the travel needs of tourists. In addition, local police and military forces also participate in supporting traffic diversion and ensuring security and order for tourists during the peak festival days,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan shared.
