On the afternoon of April 14, the Department of Performing Arts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a press meeting to introduce the performing arts programs of the art units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the art units of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a series of special art programs.
Speaking at the ceremony, People's Artist Xuan Bac - Director of the Department of Performing Arts - said that the morning lights performing the art programs of the units were the opportunity for the audience to enjoy many attractive art performances, showing the meaning, great stature, the great value of the great victory of the spring in 1975 completely liberating the South, unifying the country in the history of national construction and defense of our nation.
"In April and May, more than 1,500 artists from 12 theaters will practice and bring special and meaningful programs in all parts of the country. I hope that all the theater can express their spirit, enthusiasm, patriotism, bringing emotional art programs, attracting audiences," People's Artist Xuan Bac shared.
At the same time, the art program of the units also aims to preserve and promote good traditional culture and art combined with tourism development, promotion and propagation of traditional Vietnamese art forms to domestic and foreign tourists; strengthening the great unity bloc of the whole nation, successfully implementing the country's renovation in the era of the nation's stretching.

Vietnam Theater
The art program "May with people", including 2 plays "Rubber slippers" and "White Night". The two plays are not only directed to the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the country but also in the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.
Vietnam Symphony Orchestra
Special concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification. Conductor Honda Tetsuji (Japan) commanded, international piano talent Nguyen Viet Trung performed. The concert took place on April 21, 2025 at the Hanoi Opera House.
The typical work "The person who comes back to the happy day" (Trong Bang) will be performed in the concert combined with historical gas and the spirit of contemporary cultural exchange.
Vietnam music and dance theater
National symphony - auditorium "Victory song" on April 25, 2025, conducted by the conductor: Le Phi Phi, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Hai Linh directed the art. Viet Bac folk music and dance theater
The program "Vietnam triumph" took place on April 30 in Ho Chi Minh City. Hue. In particular, the musical "Going towards the sun" will be toured in April and May in Thai Nguyen, Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces.
Youth Theater
The musical "Fire from the earth" will serve the audience of the Capital 2 on April 26 at the Vietnamese Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi.
