On May 18, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that tens of thousands of Buddhists and people returned to Tam Chuc Pagoda to worship the Buddha. The "Phat Da footsteps" area is one of the stops that attracts many people.
"Phat Da's footprints" is an image of the Buddha's feet crafted from natural blue stone that has just officially appeared at Tam Chuc Pagoda, attracting a large number of monks, Buddhists and tourists from all over to worship. This is a symbol of the Buddha's hand, placed in the garden of the Tam Chuc pagoda's throne to honor the founder of enlightenment - Buddha Shakyamuni.

According to information from Tam Chuc Pagoda, the statue of Buddha's feet is crafted from 2 natural green stone blocks, each block is 10m long, 3.6m wide, 1m high and weighs more than 100 tons. On the surface of the footprints are elaborate carved patterns such as phap luan, lotus flowers, symbolizing the three foundations of the Gioi - Dinh - Tue pilgrimage road.

"The footprints of Buddha" at Tam Chuc Pagoda are not only a deep spiritual symbol but also a stop for contemplation for every Buddhist and tourist. Ms. Nguyen Kim Oanh (from Thai Binh) said: "When I pilgrimed to Tam Chuc Pagoda to worship the Buddha, I was impressed with the image of "Fods of Buddha Da". Before returning, I stopped to rest and walk around "Phat Da tan tay" to pray for luck, peace and health for my family".
To serve Buddhists and people, during the event days, the organizing committee will provide free electric bus and boat tickets to visit the Tam Chuc pagoda grounds (regular ticket prices range from 250,000 - 480,000 VND/trip) and give away free vegetarian meals. From May 17 to 20, the pagoda is open from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm every day for people to worship and worship the Buddha.
