The Bui Xuan Phai Award Ceremony - For Love of Hanoi is based on the list of 11 official nominations, the Grand Prize - For Love of Hanoi and 4 co-rated awards for the categories: Work Award (2 awards), idea Award and Employment Award.
In particular, musician Tran Tien was honored with the Grand Prize - For the Love of Hanoi with the works he composed for the Capital. Tran Tien is considered one of the musicians who left a special mark in contemporary Vietnamese music, not only because of his open-minded creative personality, rich in " impromptu" qualities, but also because of his cultural touchpoint and memories. In Tran Tien's composition, Hanoi stands out as a strong "source".

Tran Tien's "Source" of works about Hanoi first left an impression on the city and "poor streets". The street is very strong in Tran Tien's song. Tran Tien's music was originally improvised and open-minded, but in Poor Street, that improvisation was restrained, giving way to lyrical self-talk, both as a story recount and a dialogue with oneself.
It can be said that Tran Tien has made a special contribution to depicting Hanoi through music. For him, Hanoi is not only a place name, but also a Red River flowing forever, a street that is both poor and poetic, a special Doai land that has now become a part of the capital.
"Hanoi has changed a lot, high houses, wide doors. I don't know many new streets. That is a good thing. We must change with the contemporary world, the whole world has changed. But in me, the image of old Hanoi is still like the painting of Bui Xuan Phai. Wherever I touch them, I am moved by the years of love, the happy and sad memories like the melodies of a distant time" - musician Tran Tien said.

The award ceremony also honored the Hanoi Ideas - For Love Award for the project to build the Hanoi Opera House and the cultural and artistic park in Quang An (Tay Ho ward). The theater project was designed by famous Italian architect Renzo Piano - the great father of modern architecture with works that change the world.
Architect Renzo Piano said that with the Hanoi Opera House, he hopes to contribute to building an iconic theater for Vietnam, and include this place in the list of the most famous theaters in the world. With a large scale and orientation to become a place to organize world-class art programs, a destination for famous artists around the world, the Hanoi Opera House will contribute to making Vietnam a leading Opera destination in the world.
The Hanoi Employment - For Love Award was presented to the Vietnam Exhibition Center - a new " wonder" in Hanoi, a miracle of construction in Vietnam. This is a project positioned to become the largest exhibition center complex in Southeast Asia and is in the Top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world, with the expectation of contributing to introducing and connecting Vietnamese enterprises with international enterprises through exhibition activities.
The Work - For the Love of Hanoi Award was awarded to a series of paintings about Hanoi by artist Pham Binh Chuong during the 20 years of "Shooting the Street" and the musical "Fire from the Earth" (Vietnam Youth Theater).

It is known that the Bui Xuan Phai Award - For the Love of Hanoi was established by the Sports and Culture Newspaper (Vietnam Town) and the family of the late artist Bui Xuan Phai in 2008, to award authors, works, ideas, and jobs with high scientific and artistic values imbued with the love of Hanoi. This year's award took place on the occasion of the 71st Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).
Journalist Nguyen Thien Thuat - Editor-in-Chief of Sports and Culture Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee, Member of the Jury said that the Bui Xuan Phai Award - For the Love of Hanoi continues to carry the mission of honoring the hearts, minds and hands that have, are and will contribute to the Capital. Each work, each work, each initiative honored is a testament to the eternal love of Hanoi, for the aspiration to build a civilized, modern capital, but still retain its core and identity.
