On September 18, Trang An Electronics, Trade and Service Company Limited (Ninh Binh) officially announced the dismantling of the "Kong" film studio at Trang An Eco-tourism Area.
Accordingly, on September 20, the Trang An Tourist Area Management Board will coordinate with relevant agencies to dismantle the "Kong" film studio here. This is to ensure the sustainable development of Trang An Eco-tourism Area in particular and Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in general according to UNESCO's recommendations.
Previously, in June, UNESCO encouraged the dismantling of the set of the movie "Kong" in the core area of Trang An scenic spot. Sharing with the press, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huong, Head of UNESCO's Cultural Department in Vietnam, said that she highly appreciated the move of the Trang An Tourist Area Management Board.
The film "Kong: Skull Island" directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts was mainly set in Trang An. After the film was completed, the space of the indigenous village including palm tents, wooden boats, etc. was restored to serve tourists visiting since April 2017.
In the setting of the movie "Kong: Skull Island", there are about 40 pointed tent-shaped cars with many long wooden boats, bamboo household appliances... The movie "Kong" attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists to visit every year. People here also dressed up as indigenous people in tents to take photos for tourists.
