The Da Nang Fine Arts Museum in collaboration with the Hue Fine Arts Museum opened the thematic exhibition "The beauty of Hue's cultural heritage through fine arts".
This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The exhibition displays and introduces 150 paintings, selected from the collection of nearly 1,500 paintings about Hue by the Hue Fine Arts Museum.
This is the result of the tireless creative journey of many architects and painters - those who have directly painted in architectural works, scenic spots, landscapes and people of Hue from 2020 to present.
Combined with the exhibition, there is also an exhibition and performance of Hue Ao Dai traditional with the theme "Ao Dai and Heritage" and an experience of carving carved wooden patterns on the tops and paintings of Sinh Hue village.
On this occasion, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum also organized a seminar on "Innovation and improvement of the quality of thematic exhibition work at art museums in Vietnam".
This is an activity to create a forum for public art museums across the country to meet, share experiences, exchange expertise and together seek practical solutions to improve the quality of thematic exhibition activities, increasingly better meeting the needs of the public to enjoy the culture, while contributing to the development of the cultural industry in the current period.
The seminar was attended by 4 public art museums across the country including: Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Hue Fine Arts Museum, Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum.
