On August 8, Hanoi City Police informed the press about the plan to organize the Festival for the Peaceful Capital program.
According to Hanoi City Police, this is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day 2.9; 80 years of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day; 20 years of the National Day for National Security Protection.
The program is organized to review and honor the 50-year tradition of building, fighting and growing in glory of the Vietnam People's Public Security force in general, Hanoi City Police in particular; widely disseminate so that all classes of people can deeply understand the core role of the People's Public Security force, the position, role and responsibility of the people in protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety; towards socio-political activities with profound and practical significance to celebrate the country's major holidays.
The program also contributes to educating the tradition of patriotism, national pride, and the will to contribute to the cadres, soldiers, and people; spreading the image of the Capital Police soldiers who are "Couraged, humane, serving the people"; strengthening and consolidating the solidarity and coordination relationship between Hanoi City Police with departments, branches, organizations, socio-political organizations, and people of the Capital, thereby improving the effectiveness of implementing the movement "All people protect national security" right from the grassroots.
The program "Fest for the Peaceful Capital" with extremely rich, lively, and profound content; harmoniously combining art performances with the two topics " Glory of 80 years of the Heroic Capital Police" and "Aspiration to contribute, for the Peaceful Capital" to tour the team, parade the masses and specialized equipment and means of Hanoi City Police.
The art performances have the participation of many famous artists such as: Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, singer Ho Ngoc Ha, singer Toc Tien, singer Noo Phuoc Thinh, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, artists of the Vietnam Song and Dance Theater and officers and soldiers of the Capital Police, promising to bring impressive, touching and memorable experiences to the audience, arousing national pride and love for the Fatherland.
The special and impressive highlight of the program was the team approval and mass parade with the participation of nearly 3,000 officers and soldiers representing units under the Hanoi Police and the people of the capital; 245 specialized motor vehicles belonging to the professional forces of the City Police.
Along with that are the People's Public Security martial arts performances with high level and technique, demonstrating comprehensive combat capabilities, ready to respond to all situations of Hanoi City Police.
The Festival for the Peaceful Capital will take place from 7:30 a.m. on August 10 at the Monument of King Ly Thai To and Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hoan Kiem ward).
